Official Notice

Zigma Internet Marketing has been made aware of fraudulent job postings circulating on university and career platforms. These postings are not authorized by our company and involve the misuse of our brand identity.

What We Have Identified

The activity involves use of the domain zigmamarketing.com, redirection from that domain to our official website (zigma.ca) to create false credibility, distribution of job postings such as “Virtual Office Assistant,” attempts to create employer accounts on university job portals, and communication through unauthorized email addresses using that domain. We have received direct verification requests from institutions including Redeemer University and Vancouver Island University.

Important Clarification

Zigma Internet Marketing does not operate or control zigmamarketing.com, has not authorized any job postings or employer accounts associated with that domain, and does not communicate through email addresses using that domain. Our only official domain is https://zigma.ca.

Pattern Identified Across Multiple Institutions

We are now seeing repeated attempts across multiple Canadian institutions. These incidents follow a consistent pattern involving unauthorized use of zigmamarketing.com, attempts to validate employer accounts using false credentials, repeated use of the name Geoffrey, and separate appearances of the surname Hughes in related communications. We are not confirming any verified identity associated with these details, and these names may be used as part of the impersonation attempt. This indicates a coordinated impersonation effort, not an isolated incident.

How to Identify the Scam

Be cautious if the email domain is not @zigma.ca, the role is a generic remote or administrative position with minimal screening, you are asked to proceed quickly without proper verification, or the posting redirects through another domain before landing on our website.

What You Should Do

If you encounter such a posting or request, do not respond or share personal information, report the listing to the platform or institution, and contact us directly to verify legitimacy.

Our Position

This is a clear case of brand impersonation and fraudulent activity. We are actively investigating the source, working to have the domain and related assets taken down, and notifying affected institutions and platforms.

Contact for Verification

If you need to confirm any opportunity claiming to be from Zigma, contact us at info@zigma.ca or by phone at your office number.

Final Statement

Any communication originating from @zigmamarketing.com should be treated as unauthorized and potentially fraudulent unless confirmed directly with our team.
